Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Assurance Manager to join our team at Cohen & Company. As a key member of our Assurance department, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements for real estate industry clients, assuming full responsibility for planning, supervising, and completing projects, and managing day-to-day client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead audit engagements for real estate industry clients, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective audit plans, identifying areas of risk and opportunity for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and client services.
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting, with a focus on real estate industry clients.
  • CPA license required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
