Job Summary:

Powers Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures at a technical level, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of MRI technology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in MRI technology.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology.
  • Certified by an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible with passage of test within one year of graduation.
  • Licensure by the State Board of Health must be obtained and kept current.
  • One year of specialized training or experience in MRI technology, with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Preferred certification in MRI by the ARRT (MR) or eligibility for examination.
