Powers Health is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist for our Munster location. As a member of our team, you will work under the supervision of the Special Imaging Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services and the clinical direction of the Radiology Medical Director. Your responsibilities will include performing diagnostic procedures at a technical level, as outlined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. You will work with a variety of patients, including neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited school of radiological technology and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. You will also need to have one year of specialized training or experience in MRI technology. Preferred qualifications include Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification by the ARRT (MR) or eligibility for the examination. As a condition of employment, you will be required to take and pass the Advanced Specialty Registry within the first year of employment.
