Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Cashier at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our valued customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading retail pharmacy chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked and organized store environment.
  • Store Maintenance: Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, including assisting with cleaning, organization, and visual merchandising.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support, and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving issues and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Cash Handling Skills: Accurate and efficient cash handling skills, with the ability to operate a cash register and maintain accurate records.
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive team culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: 6 months or more of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Walgreens Experience: Previous experience working with Walgreens, with a strong understanding of the company's policies, procedures, and culture.
