Job Title: Senior Manager Government Compliance

Job Summary:

Fisica Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Government Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives and ensuring compliance with government accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with government accounting regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of government accounting regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements in compliance with government accounting regulations.
  • Coordinate and support external audits and government contract audits.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting and compliance with government regulations.
  • Monitor and assess changes in government accounting regulations and update organizational policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting staff on government accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with government accounting regulations throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or graduate degree and minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with creating policies, procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable government account regulations.
  • Mastery level knowledge within Specific technical area or multiple job area.
  • Required to have experience within the government contracting industry.
  • Preferred experience with one of the following ERP systems, Costpoint, ProPricer or WAWF.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $175,000-225,000.
  • 9/80 schedule: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
