Under the direction of the Medical Director and Overseeing Physician, the Nurse Practitioner manages the day-to-day operations of the onsite health care clinic, providing patient care that includes case management, physicals and clearance exams, injury assessment, and minor procedures.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in an occupational health setting and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and workers compensation principles is a plus.
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing post-offer physicals and non-work-related/return-to-work medical clearance examinations, providing urgent and episodic care to employees, and responding to in-plant medical emergencies and evaluating employees with acute episodic illness, referring when appropriate.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with all levels across the organization, possess strong administrative and management skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
