Nurse Practitioner Lead Position

Job Summary:
As a Nurse Practitioner Lead at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will have the opportunity to practice autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to treat and manage patient health problems. You will serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a plan of care within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner utilizing written protocols to ensure quality patient care.
- Use prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations.
- Enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Provide clinical leadership.
- Support lifelong learning.
- Complete assigned goals.
Requirements:
- Either a Master's or Doctoral level as a nurse practitioner.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience functioning in the nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting.
- RN licensure.
- Computer literacy.
