We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician/Installer for our team. The primary duties include:
- Installing and configuring fire and security alarm systems, including wiring and programming
- Conducting inspections, testing, and repairs of alarm systems
- Providing recommendations for system installations and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, including the upkeep of company vehicles
- Exhibiting excellent customer service and communication skills
- Documenting work performed accurately and clearly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least five years
- A minimum of three years of experience in the installation and servicing of fire alarm systems
- Strong understanding of fire alarm technologies, access control, and CCTV systems
- Familiarity with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current industry standards
- Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $27 to $35.
Physical RequirementsSuccessful candidates will be required to perform tasks that involve using hands for handling and communication. The role may require frequent movement, including standing, walking, sitting, and climbing. Candidates should be able to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds and possess good vision capabilities.
