Overview

Responsibilities
  • Record and analyze electrocardiograms to identify abnormal heart rhythms and patterns.
  • Clearly explain testing procedures to patients and address their questions and concerns.
  • Accurately apply electrode leads to patients' chests, arms, and legs.
  • Monitor electrocardiograms for abnormal patterns and report findings to healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
