Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your duties will include assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in any US state or territory
  • At least 1 year of specialized nursing experience equivalent to the Nurse I, Level 2 grade level
  • Experience working in an operating room setting is highly preferred
  • Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
