Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers.
- Drive tractor-trailers or escort vehicles.
- Use various hand and power tools, including cutting torch and welding equipment.
- Handle and attach heavy steel chains, cables, and other devices.
- Climb on, under, and around derailed railroad cars and other equipment.
- Lift up to 150 lbs. with frequent lifting of 50 lbs.
- Work at elevated heights, including over water.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and hazardous materials handling.
- Maintain service records and ensure proper use of company tools.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a related field.
- Class A CDL required.
- Proficient in equipment inspection procedures and mechanical operations.
- Understand equipment limitations and demonstrate safe handling techniques.
- Ability to work Monday-Sunday, on-call 24/7 for emergency derailments.
$24.60 hourly wage, plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
