Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at American Family Care, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases by performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Image Acquisition: Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques, process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by a physician and radiologist overreads.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and policies, perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs.
  • Administrative Support: Complete forms, maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed, and serve as a Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed.

  • $32.00 per hour
