Facilities Automation Specialist

The Facilities Technician is a key member of the Belimo team, responsible for the maintenance and operation of the company's Danbury, CT building and surrounding grounds. This role involves overseeing and troubleshooting automated systems that control building mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and adjust system settings to maintain a comfortable and safe environment.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Building Automation System (BAS) components.
- Diagnose and repair issues with sensors, controllers, and other BAS hardware.
- Generate reports for facility management on system status and energy usage.
- Provide training and support to other staff members on how to use the BAS effectively.
- Work with vendors and service companies to repair or upgrade building systems.
- Ensure building systems remain functional and in good operating condition at all times.
- At least 5 years of experience in Building Automation System operation/troubleshooting, building and physical plant operations.
- Ability to work safely with equipment and in proximity to others.
- Familiarity with LOTO procedures and ability to effectively lock out and tag out equipment.
- Understanding of building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of building automation systems is a plus.
The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 - $90,000 annually, with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee's annual base salary. Belimo offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other competitive benefits.
