As a Front Desk Assistant at Pierre Landscape, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing front desk duties, including greeting visitors and providing a professional welcome
- Answering and managing calls from the main line, including taking and relaying messages or transferring to voicemail as needed
- Ensuring phone coverage by designating a backup during desk absences
- Providing accurate information to callers and addressing inquiries from the public and customers
Information Technology Support
You will also be responsible for:
- Setting up new extensions, direct dials, and email signatures for employees
- Assigning appropriate software to employees based on their job requirements
- Maintaining an accurate log of user IDs, passwords, and IT equipment inventory (laptops, monitors, etc.)
Office Administration
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area, copier spaces, and kitchen throughout the day
- Ensuring copiers are stocked with paper and supplies daily
- Coordinating with vendors for office cleaning and maintenance requests
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
While basic IT troubleshooting knowledge is a plus, it is not required.
