Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Formulate and execute the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Lead long-term financial planning and forecasting initiatives to guarantee sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and presentation of precise and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accounting principles.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Direct the annual budgeting process and continuous forecasting activities. Track financial performance against budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to enhance financial results.

  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as required. Optimize the company's capital structure and working capital to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Investment Management: Assess investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the executive team. Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax obligations and regulations. Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Encourage collaboration and communication within the finance department and across the organization.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, offering financial insights and guidance on critical business decisions. Participate in board meetings and present financial reports to the board of directors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in a specific industry or sector is a plus.
