Lymphedema Therapist

Job Summary:

The Lymphedema Therapist, under the direction of the Department Leadership, evaluates patients, establishes treatment goals, plans, and performs treatment, assessing effectiveness and making discharge recommendations. The therapist collaborates with DME providers to obtain necessary supplies for patients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an occupational or physical therapy program
• Extensive training in Lymphedema Management
• 3 years of professional experience
• State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational or Physical Therapist
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and relate information to individuals of varying ages from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
