Job Summary:

The Lymphedema Therapist at Rutland Regional Medical Center evaluates patients, establishes treatment goals, and performs treatment under the direction of Department Leadership. This role collaborates with DME providers to obtain necessary supplies for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals
  • Perform treatment under the direction of Department Leadership
  • Collaborate with DME providers to obtain necessary supplies
  • Assess treatment effectiveness and make discharge recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational or Physical Therapy
  • Extensive training in Lymphedema Management
  • 3 years of professional experience
  • State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational or Physical Therapist
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and relate information to individuals of varying ages from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
