We are seeking a Senior Philanthropy Officer to join our team at Martha's Table. As a member of our development department, you will play a critical role in securing funding to support our programs and services.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned development professional to join our team and drive growth in institutional funding.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure significant support from foundations, corporations, and government entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute fundraising plans to meet or exceed annual goals
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, donors, and community leaders
  • Create compelling proposals, reports, and other materials to showcase Martha's Table's impact and value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts with organizational objectives

Requirements:

  • 7 years of job-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding fundraising goals in a non-profit setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate a compelling case for support and engage donors effectively across various channels
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement data-driven fundraising strategies
  • Proficiency in fundraising CRM systems and data analysis tools

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience
