We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to become a vital part of our team at Jones Machine Company, Inc. The main objective of this role is to verify that our manufactured goods conform to the established standards and specifications outlined in the technical drawings, ensuring that all components meet rigorous quality benchmarks.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Inspector include:
- Conducting thorough inspections to either accept or reject finished products.
- Utilizing precision instruments such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and CMM for accurate measurements of manufactured items.
- Keeping detailed records and documentation of product inspections and results.
- Completing necessary Quality Assurance forms and certifications.
- Suggesting modifications to the assembly or production processes as needed.
- Interpreting blueprints and technical specifications effectively.
- Identifying product flaws, documenting issues, and reporting them appropriately.
- Assisting in process enhancements and executing required repairs.
- Collaborating with the manufacturing team and other departments as necessary.
- Adhering to all safety and environmental regulations as per established protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- A keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive demeanor and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized Quality Control area.
Previous experience in a machine shop and quality control is preferred.
