  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Design Changes and Modifications: Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical Review: Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Modeling and Visualization: Create 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings.
  • Organization and Maintenance: Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
  • Support and Clarification: Provide support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • CAD Experience: 4-5 years of experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • MicroStation Experience: Must have experience with MicroStation.
  • Utility and Gas Distribution Experience: Must have experience in the utility and gas distribution industry.
  • Education and Certification: A 2-year technical degree or equivalent certification is required.
