Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions within the unit during your designated shift. Collaborating with management, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Foster teamwork by collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Implement nursing strategies to enhance employee engagement and patient outcomes.
- Provide input on hiring, training, and staff development.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of experience in an ICU setting.
- A degree from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- A valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a Compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
