Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for the prevention, maintenance, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, as well as providing medical coverage at outside games, practices, and tournaments.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide athletic training services to athletes at DeeMack High School, including injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
  • Assist with Coach's clinics and outreach coverage to local high schools, including public relation duties, evaluation, recognition, prevention, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
  • Communicate with athletes, parents, athletic directors, coaches, and physicians regarding athletes' playing status and ability to return to competition.
  • Manage supplies and obtain new supplies as needed to provide school athletic training.
  • Participate in State, District, and National Athletic Training Organizations as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Athletic Training Program or Entry Level Masters.
  • BOC certification and IL AT license or eligible.
  • Approximately one to two years' experience of progressively responsible related experience necessary to gain a thorough knowledge of athletic training techniques.
Working Conditions:
  • Works in all athletic type atmospheres where there may be discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise, heat, and the like.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds daily.
  • Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
