Driver for Community Services

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Kintegra Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to patients, using specialized vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts and tie-down equipment.
The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $52,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Job Summary:
This is a key position within our transportation department, requiring a reliable and compassionate individual who can work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive patients to and from medical appointments, following established schedules and adjusting routes as needed
- Assist patients with mobility issues, using proper safety techniques and ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including arrival and departure times, and any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a good driving record
- 1 year of experience working with physically limited populations, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, and walking
