Your Responsibilities...
- Lead the hot line and manage grill and sauté stations, utilizing the freshest and finest ingredients.
- Oversee the butchering of premium meats and seafood.
- Handle protein and inventory counts in collaboration with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
- Work across multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision.
- Assist colleagues in food preparation and coordinate orders for service.
- Prepare dishes according to established recipes in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, kitchen areas, and storage facilities.
- Guarantee the highest quality of food production in a sanitary and professional manner.
- Manage inventory levels at workstations.
- Order supplies for upcoming shifts as necessary.
- Communicate any issues encountered during service to the Chef on duty.
- Facilitate breaks for team members as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers as required.
- Address guest and associate concerns effectively.
- Adjust line operations based on performance and business requirements.
- Prepare menu items using various cooking methods such as slicing, roasting, frying, and grilling.
- Engage in display cooking and respond to customer inquiries regarding ingredients and pricing.
- Organize tasks to meet daily production goals and service demands.
- Guide the food service team in their tasks.
- Prepare meals accommodating food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Act as an Ambassador for Gravity Haus, promoting our mission and vision to foster a globally conscious community for modern adventurers.
