Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at MAG Aerospace. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in pursuit of technical solutions to fielded and future electronic warfare systems, tactical enterprise, and challenges facing the Army's current and future forces.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), RF Engineering, Fires Systems, and overarching EW systems. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex technical problems.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting EW&C. The EW&C program delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of warfighting capabilities from sensor to Soldier worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis, subsystem analysis, architecture/subsystem decomposition, requirements analysis, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of ground-based EW systems.
- Exercise a strong knowledge of EW systems and subsystems to develop system and subsystem specifications necessary for meeting performance metrics against a given set of signals of interest.
- Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving use cases, CONOPS, CONEMP, and TTPs.
- Participate in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks including classification and identification techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, Radio Frequency (RF) systems, SIGINT and Electronic Support (ES) systems.
- BS (MS or Ph.D. preferred) in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or similar field.
