Operations Control Engineer

The Operations Control Engineer plays a crucial role in monitoring and upholding exceptional quality standards while managing both manual and automated equipment. This position involves reporting any discrepancies to the supervising authority and ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of the operational area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee automated industrial machinery
  • Identify and report safety and quality concerns
  • Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams for enhancements
  • Guide and train new technicians while supporting various plant departments
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on production lines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop troubleshooting documentation
  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an industrial or food production environment
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, Siemens PCS7, Simatic batch, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is advantageous
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential
