As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining the measurement systems of our track measurement trains in the area of track geometry and clearance profile measurement, as well as functional testing of the overhead line and non-destructive rail testing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing the measuring equipment on the measurement vehicles, as well as producing or repairing elements and replacement components of the testing and measurement technology.
  • Working with our system support team to implement improvements and ensure the necessary maintenance of the measurement components and the measurement and calibration equipment in the workshop.
  • Introducing new measurement and evaluation techniques, collaborating with our technical teams, and supporting adjacent projects.
  • Training operating personnel on the measurement trains in electrical engineering matters.

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship, e.g. as an electrician, and have professional experience in the field of electrical engineering.
  • You bring a sense of responsibility, economic thinking and acting, independence, and a willingness to shape and drive projects forward.
