The Event Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of events aimed at enhancing brand and product visibility in both niche and broader markets. This role involves establishing connections with customers, dealers, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. The position requires travel across the country to manage logistics for events, including the transportation of motorcycles and necessary equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Event Coordinator will:

  • Plan and implement a variety of events such as dealer demonstrations, media launches, trade shows, and corporate gatherings.
  • Collaborate with fellow event coordinators and stakeholders to provide comprehensive event support, ensuring all tasks align with the project timeline.
  • Manage pre-event preparations and on-site coordination, including the organization of insurance documentation, liaising with tracks and promoters, and driving vehicles to transport essential items.
  • Prepare motorcycles for demonstration rides, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
  • Facilitate various motorcycle riding demonstrations as required and assist with additional events as needed.
  • Conduct post-event clean-up and maintenance of motorcycles and equipment, ensuring readiness for subsequent events.
  • Compile and submit detailed reports on event outcomes, including participant information and signed release forms.
  • Handle any incidents or injuries during events according to established protocols.
  • Assist with motorcycle refurbishment during off-peak times and support media-related functions as necessary.
  • Contribute to the organization of the events area at the corporate office when not on the road.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of three to five years of experience in the motorcycle, automotive, or action sports sectors is preferred. Candidates should possess strong mechanical skills and familiarity with motorcycle operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. A valid Class C driver's license and motorcycle license are required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma is mandatory.
