This position presents a unique opportunity to engage with the newly established PM Cyber & Space, contributing to the rapidly evolving Cyber Infrastructure Product Office, which is pivotal in offensive cyber operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend, direct, and implement systems engineering methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to facilitate technical tasks related to the development and integration of software solutions.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of systems engineering strategies.
  • Evaluate and verify contractor deliverables to ensure adherence to government regulations and standards.
  • Participate in governmental oversight of contractor engineering efforts, including support in agile development activities within the Software Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Provide recommendations to the government concerning systems engineering, planning, requirements prioritization, design, and system integration.
  • Deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions for resolving technical challenges.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce concise technical documentation on complex subjects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, in addition to the required years of experience.

Clearance:

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in systems engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Capability to work in office and laboratory environments.
