We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Solutions Support team at Ally Financial.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analytics and business intelligence to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and work closely with data engineering teams to migrate production databases to the cloud via Snowflake.
  • Extract data from traditional data warehouses, big data ecosystems, and cloud data warehouses to produce critical auto data for business analysts, executives, and operational leadership.
  • Partner with the business to consult and translate requirements to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
  • Communicate and display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive, clear, and concise manner.
  • Support production reporting and implement data enhancement requests.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science, Management Information System, or Business Analytics.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL databases, SAS, Python, DBT, and ability to write complex SQL statements to build data tables and reports.
  • Experience with data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, SQL Server, Power BI, SAS EM, Posit, and DBT.
  • Programming languages such as SQL, DAX, R, and Python.
  • Data governance and risk management experience with tools such as Alation, Bitbucket, Gitlab, and Jira.
