The OAG is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst to research and analyze intelligence information and healthcare data to support the investigation and prosecution of Medicaid fraud violations.

This role involves complex data analysis, report writing, and identification of patterns of criminal activity to support the investigation and prosecution of Medicaid fraud violations and physical and financial abuse in Medicaid-funded facilities.

Applicants will be subject to a motor vehicle registration check and social media check, and full criminal and credit checks will be run on all applicants prior to employment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, healthcare administration, or a related field, and experience in researching and compiling data, data extraction/query and analysis, and using statistical methods and relational databases to analyze data sets.

The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating, and correlating criminal intelligence information and healthcare data from various sources, producing and analyzing intelligence reports, and reviewing and evaluating investigative findings.

The OAG provides exemplary legal representation in diverse areas of law, and the selected candidate will be working in a professional office environment, collaborating with others, and traveling up to 20% of the time.

The Criminal Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for managing multiple large data sets, identifying trends, and producing clear and concise written intelligence reports.

The ideal candidate will have certifications such as Certified Crime Analyst or Certified Fraud Examiner.
