Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A Master's degree with three years of industry experience or a PhD with two years of research or industry experience in Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in software development and executing intricate experiments using Python with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience in researching and developing deep learning and generative AI techniques.
  • Familiarity with scaling machine learning models in cloud computing environments.
  • A commitment to producing high-quality, clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with a strong focus on appropriate design patterns and software architectures.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating ownership of challenges and a dedication to resolving them.
  • A mature perspective in ambiguous situations, capable of framing questions and seeking clarity while making informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • A drive to make a meaningful impact and a commitment to addressing significant challenges with creativity and determination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • First authorship on a publication or peer-reviewed AI conference paper.
  • Previous experience applying machine learning in biological or chemical contexts.
  • Knowledge in physics, molecular biology, chemistry, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in developing efficient code in C/C++.
