Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to students, teachers, and staff.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing referred students, making recommendations for appropriate school programs, and participating in Multi-Disciplinary Team and Child Study Team meetings.
Responsibilities:- Student Assessment and Support: Conduct thorough assessments of referred students to identify areas of need and provide personalized support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Collaboration with Teachers and Staff: Work closely with teachers and staff to develop plans to meet the needs of students, including individualized education programs and group therapy sessions.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide group and individual therapy sessions to students, addressing a range of issues including behavioral challenges and emotional difficulties.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- An ID Psychology License.
- Proven experience working in schools or pediatric settings.
