Job Description

We are looking for a skilled School Psychologist to join our team and deliver virtual assessments, counseling services, and support to students in need. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a school setting and be certified or licensed as a School Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote psychological assessments to identify students' needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student well-being and academic success
  • Provide virtual counseling services for students facing personal, social, academic, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' academic and personal development
  • Crisis intervention and develop strategies to manage immediate emotional and behavioral crises
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on mental health, behavior management, and creating supportive learning environments
  • Maintain documentation and records in compliance with privacy regulations and ethical standards
  • Utilize telehealth and educational technology platforms to deliver services effectively

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (ability to work across multiple states is a plus)
  • Experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents in educational contexts
  • Familiarity with virtual counseling, teletherapy platforms, and secure data management practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families in a virtual setting
  • Understanding of cultural, socioeconomic, and educational diversity to support inclusive practices

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience with virtual platforms and digital tools for assessments and therapy
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students and families in an online environment
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including IDEA and FERPA
  • High level of organizational skills, with an emphasis on documentation and tracking student progress remotely
