Restaurant Manager Opportunity at Velvet Taco

We are seeking a talented Restaurant Manager with a passion for hospitality and scratch kitchen experience to join our team at Velvet Taco. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned restaurant, ensuring effective restaurant operations, consistent high food quality, and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the management team in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensures effective restaurant operations, resulting in consistent high food quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Supports team members in training, development, and recognition.
  • Promotes and supports a 5-star guest experience.
  • Manages inventory, labor, and other operational aspects of the restaurant.
  • Develops and implements strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops high-performing teams to drive business results.
  • Monitors and controls costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Collaborates with the management team to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and implements changes to drive business growth.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and resolves customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-casual environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing restaurants, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Food handlers certification, TABC certification, and other relevant licenses and certifications as required by law.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to work in the United States.
