Certified Ophthalmic Technician - Ophthalmology Department

Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, you will assist ophthalmologists in the treatment and care of patients by performing a variety of technical duties. Your responsibilities will include obtaining medical histories, testing ocular functions, fitting contact lenses, and administering medications as directed by ophthalmologists.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to maintain accurate records and perform routine maintenance on ophthalmic instruments.

Other Duties
