As an essential member of our team, you will be instrumental in managing front-office operations crucial for optimizing the effectiveness of our medical practice and clinic.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Welcome, assess, and assist patients and visitors.
- Handle incoming mail, faxes, and other documentation.
- Operate a multi-line phone system.
- Schedule, register, and facilitate patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Conduct data management and spreadsheet tasks.
- Generate and oversee reports.
- Execute charge entry processes.
- Manage billing documentation and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other patient payments at the time of service.
- Oversee cash handling and maintain receipt documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Familiarity with data processing and multi-line telephone systems preferred.
- Experience with patient registration and medical insurance preferred.
- Knowledge of office protocols and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in automated computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
