Genesis10, a prominent staffing firm, is in search of a Senior Software Engineer. This role is designed for a contract position that allows for a hybrid work model.

Overview:
  • The User Experience Research (UXR) team comprises skilled UI designers, researchers, writers, content designers, and project managers dedicated to enhancing user experiences.
  • We thrive in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, engaging with team members from various sectors including Assistant, Research, Search, Trust & Safety, and Responsible AI.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prioritize research opportunities in collaboration with partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement a combination of tactical and strategic research initiatives across all phases of product development.
  • Focus on research that enhances user experience and shapes the product roadmap.
  • Oversee all facets of the research process, from planning and execution to the dissemination of findings.
  • Effectively communicate the research agenda with cross-functional teams, balancing business objectives and technical limitations with user needs.
  • Drive impactful changes through research insights.
  • Present research findings in a compelling and actionable manner for both experts and non-experts.
Qualifications:
  • A BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Statistics, Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a research-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to formulate relevant research questions and utilize technical tools for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of various research methodologies and their appropriate application during product development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills with peers across different functions.
  • Only candidates prepared to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An MS or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in an applied research setting.
  • High adaptability and readiness to respond quickly to changing needs.
  • Research experience in areas such as voice-activated digital assistants, mobile technology, or Generation I products.
Compensation: $105.36 per hour.
