Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team as a Dump Truck Driver for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Florida. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials using a dump truck with a capacity of at least three tons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy-duty trucks to move and/or transport materials as required by the jobsite.
  • Have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
  • May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of truck driving experience preferred.
  • Requires a commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Requires good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
