Job SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Certified Nurse Assistant performs all duties within the scope of practice.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Perform all duties within the scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge necessary to obtain C.N.A. license in the state of California and current C.N.A. certification.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Background Check and Live Scan.
- Legal Right to Work in the United States.
- Vaccination Policies.
- Smoking and Tobacco Policy.
- Drug Free Environment.
