We are currently in search of a Warehouse Associate to support our operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret internal pick slips to identify items for gathering, distribution, and shipment.
- Accurately select items for dispatch and delivery.
- Facilitate inventory sub-transfers to meet order requirements as necessary.
- Ensure the correctness of picked items and quantities prior to shipment.
- Package and ship items according to customer specifications.
- Generate pick slip runs as required.
- Assist in loading outgoing merchandise onto third-party trucks.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.
- Confirm shipments using designated equipment.
- Uphold professional standards and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
- Assist in unloading incoming shipments from third-party trucks.
- Unpack and verify all incoming shipments for accuracy and distribute to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete and route delivery slips for all received merchandise.
- Stock newly arrived merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Verify and process all customer returns of merchandise.
- Input all incoming merchandise into the inventory management system as required.
- Create physical locations for incoming merchandise as necessary.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe receiving area.
- Initiate daily computer-generated random item cycle counts.
- Conduct counts of all generated inventory items.
- Record all necessary stock adjustments in the inventory system.
- Provide the Accounting Department with a monthly report of packing supplies received and utilized.
- Segregate defective stock for return to suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain packing supplies inventory.
- Verify stock levels for Customer Service and Accounting departments.
- Assist with physical inventory counts as scheduled.
- Segregate and dispose of obsolete or slow-moving stock as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas by emptying trash and recycling receptacles as needed.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
- Regular interaction with colleagues and personnel from various departments in a courteous and professional manner is expected.
- The role involves frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and communication.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Occasional requirements to sit, climb, or balance.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally over 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee will work in a warehouse setting, with regular exposure to dust, dirt, and noise.
- Possible exposure to odors and fumes due to proximity to production areas.
