Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Event Services Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and creating unforgettable memories. This position offers the opportunity to engage in various functions throughout the venue, including ushering, ticket verification, customer service on the concourse, and greeting attendees. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests by providing directions and information while fostering a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment.
Compensation:
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $13.50 to $14.50.
Benefits:
Part-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, Oak View Group provides part-time, seasonal, and internship staff with one hour of accrued paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

The Rio Rancho Events Center is a versatile facility designed to accommodate a wide range of events, including concerts, sports, family shows, conferences, and cultural programs. With a seating capacity of 7,000 and extensive floor space, it stands out as a leading venue in New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare your designated area for guests, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Welcome attendees with a friendly demeanor as they enter the venue.
- Verify event tickets to ensure proper access.
- Assist guests in finding their assigned seating.
- Remain vigilant and proactive regarding safety concerns, reporting any incidents to a supervisor.
- Monitor your section for opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Support guests in ADA accessible seating areas.
- Enforce venue policies to maintain a secure environment for all attendees.
- Manage crowd flow during events.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures to assist guests effectively in case of an emergency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or entertainment is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for helping and interacting with people is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
