Job Summary

The ACCS Clinician plays a vital role in facilitating personal growth and recovery from mental health challenges for program participants. This position requires a clinical expert who can provide support and supervision to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Meet with participants within required timeframes to provide clinical expertise and support.
  • Collaboration: Work with other service providers and DMH staff to coordinate treatment and case management of program participants.
  • Documentation: Complete required paperwork within specified timeframes, including initial intakes, comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training on evidence-based practices to all staff.
  • Treatment Planning: Work with individuals to create a treatment plan, identifying specific goals, objectives, and interventions to guide service provision.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Clinical Expertise: Clinical Masters degree and Massachusetts clinical license or license-eligible required.
  • Experience: Experience providing clinical and recovery services to individuals with mental illness.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivated, and good organizational, communication, and writing skills.
