We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer I to join our team at Innoflight LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing real-time embedded software, application software, and tools for our cutting-edge software-defined compact/ground radios, cryptographic and cyber secure systems, and processing, networking, and data storage avionics.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, including the development of new work products or enhancements to existing applications and systems.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products, ensuring version control and change management.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience with developing low-level electronic device control software in C, with a strong focus on embedded systems.
- Experience with embedded Linux OS is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including electrical schematics and electronic component data sheets.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables, with a strong focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Strong knowledge of networking and communications protocols, with a focus on software-defined radio development.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security.
- A competitive salary, with a salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 per year.

- A 9/80 work schedule, with a focus on work-life balance and flexibility.
