Embedded Systems Product Manager

ADL Embedded Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of high-performance embedded solutions for demanding thermal and rugged environments. Our product portfolio includes high IP enclosures and custom system design engineering services.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Systems Product Manager to join our dynamic team in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Intel and Nvidia-based embedded systems and a passion for driving product development from concept to production release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and trends for Intel, Arm, and Nvidia based products and solutions, define product positioning, messaging, and value proposition.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with customers, engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications, manage product roadmaps and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget, oversee the development and testing of embedded systems products, including hardware, software, and firmware, project management: schedules, vendors and internal and external communication of development status.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, provide technical support and address customer inquiries, gather customer insights to inform product development and feature enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the embedded or computer systems industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of embedded systems hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, IIoT or other emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (e.g., MIL-STD, CE, etc.)
