Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to join our team in Fullerton, California. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and reworking electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies such as switches, syncros, potentiometer gear boxes, and circuit boxes.
  • Use hand tools and light power tools such as drill press, hand grinder, and sanders.
  • Utilize blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Complete soldering and wiring as required in the completion of the product.
  • Perform electromechanical sub-assembly, soldering, coil winding, and solenoids.
  • Notify lead of shortages or inferior parts immediately.
  • Produce quality work with some inspection checks by Assembly Lead or Quality Control.
  • Exercise and maintain good housekeeping and safety principles in the completion of work assignments.
Requirements
  • Electromechanical Assembly experience.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and light power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
