Public Works Division Evening Maintenance Worker

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department/Fleet Division is accepting applications for an Evening Lube Technician. This part-time, non-benefited position requires working primarily Monday through Friday, 5pm-10pm, with a maximum of 28 hours per week.

Responsibilities include performing semi-skilled mechanical duties related to general repairs, maintenance, and safety inspections of gas, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by various City departments; and performing post-trip inspections of equipment as specifically assigned based on work seasons.

Applicants must possess effective communication skills and have basic computer skills. A valid driver's license is required and a Class B CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
