Millennium Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our top initiative of ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physicians, ARNPs, or PAs by collecting vital signs and medical histories, performing EKGs, administering injections, and entering data into electronic health records.
- Provide direct patient care, including collecting and processing lab samples, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and maintain certification.
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program or completion of certification or registration.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM.
- All certifications received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical assisting role.
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
