Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to select the appropriate welding method.
  • Utilize different welding techniques to join metal components.
  • Employ cutting tools such as torches and plasma cutters to shape metal as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the welding process.
  • Maintain and service welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Examine welds for precision and quality assurance.
  • Construct and assemble metal structures and equipment as per specifications.
  • Select suitable materials for each project based on requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve any welding-related issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.


The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret technical documents and have hands-on experience with welding equipment for cutting, joining, and shaping metal.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience in a welding or fabrication role.
  • Proficient in various welding methods, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
