Work Schedule:
10-hour shifts
Position Details:
The Mechanical Pipefitter Foreman will be responsible for overseeing industrial pipe fitting tasks in a heavy industrial environment. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of installing and testing process piping ranging from 1/2" to 36" in a Water Treatment Facility. The materials involved may include PVC, DIP, Steel, SST, and FRP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct layout and set elevations and grades.
- Install above-ground mechanical piping and supports.
- Work with carbon steel piping and Victaulic couplings, with experience in copper piping being a plus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pipefitting or mechanical trade.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including shop drawings and mechanical drawings.
- Experience in creating a safe working environment and understanding OSHA regulations.
- Proficient in identifying and addressing potential issues during installation.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Must pass background checks and drug tests.
